Basic Tool Select (BTS) and Advanced Tool Select (ATS) are two levels of systems which have been designed to run various attachments (e.g. hammer, selector grab etc.). Both BTS and ATS can provide two additional flow circuits compared to the standard machine in-order to run the attachments. These are the low flow circuit (LF) and the high flow circuit (HF).

The tools are connected mechanically (via. quick hitch) and hydraulically (pipes with taps are available at the dig-end). In order to control the attachment there are several different input configurations possible. HF can be controlled with a hydraulic pedal or electronic pedal and buttons or sliders on the left-hand joystick *1. Similarly, LF can be controlled by buttons or sliders on the right-hand joystick. The operator can then configure how to control the tool with different input curves (linear, on-off, parabolic, custom), latching functions, scaling of sliders etc, *2.
