How to Remove Fuel Filter for ISUZU TF Series 4JA1 Engine

This is a instruction show you guide on how to remove fuel filter for ISUZU TF series 4JA1 engine.

Preliminary and Post Procedures
1. Preliminary procedures
1) Open the engine hood.

2) Disconnect the battery cable from the battery negative terminal.

Caution:

If the battery cable has been disconnected, make sure to set the steering angle sensor.
3. Fuel Filter Removal
1. Fuel filter (Except cold region specifications)
1) Disconnect the connector from the fuel sedimenter switch.

2) Disconnect the connector from the pressure switch.

3) Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter bracket.

4) Disconnect the fuel feed hose from the fuel filter.

Caution:

Insert a plug so that fuel does not spill.


2. Fuel filter (Cold region specifications)
1) Disconnect the connector from the fuel sedimenter switch.

2) Disconnect the connector from the pressure switch.

3) Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter bracket.

4) Disconnect the fuel feed hose from the fuel filter and recirculation valve.

5) Disconnect the fuel return hose from the recirculation valve.

Caution:

Insert a plug so that fuel does not spill.
